Six years is a long time to live somewhere
Students often compare universities on fees and rankings, then discover that winter, food or language shapes their experience more. Medgo's Match Score gives location and climate their own factor for that reason.
Four questions to ask about any city
- Climate — can you study well through a long, dark winter, or a very hot summer?
- Clinical language — lectures may be in English, but will patients speak Russian, Kyrgyz or Uzbek?
- Food — is there an Indian mess, a self-catering kitchen, or both?
- Getting home — how long is the journey, and are there direct flights?
Use preferences, not filters
Setting a climate or city preference in Medgo changes the score, it does not hide options. You will still see a strong university in a colder city — with an honest note about why it scored lower on location.
