The usual sequence
- Admission or invitation letter from the university.
- Visa application with supporting documents.
- Appointment or biometrics, where required.
- Decision, then travel booking.
- Residence registration after arrival.
Plan backwards from the start date
Processing times change by season and country. Start the visa process as soon as the admission letter arrives, and do not book non-refundable flights until a visa decision is in hand.
